Are there base cals?
if so can i use any SBEC to socket or does it need to be a R/T ECU?

Also does it use specific Chips to burn? Or same as other SBECs

For others who may wonder, I found out thanks to Rob (Shelgame) that you have to use a R/T SBEC and it uses the same chips as the other SBECs

As far as cals go you can burn one but modifying anything is really hard, other than turning off OB and things like Rev limiter look easy to change too, but i could be wrong

3-bar is hard to do. Other mods are relatively easy. Look in the repository, there's a T3 cal there I made for Simon a while back that has the 2-step and CE Flash added to it. But, it's other wise stock. The table file has the OB constants identified so you can turn off overboost...

i thought simon ran a distributor? will it work with a coil pack?

Yeah, it was for his wife's car(?) or maybe a customer, I don't remember. But, it's a stock T3 cal with mods...
