keep the head for sure and the intake can be used
if its the short runner intake the water box actually hits the timing belt on a hybrid swap. Trust me on this.. I put a short runner on my hybrid cause I didnt like the long runner hitting the oil filter and it wouldnt bolt up fully because of the timing belt interference.
cut the t-stat housing off and weld shut and try the stratus t-stat housing or run cooling on driver side
