    SSR Competition Wheels 16x7.5, 5x100

For sale, set of 4 SSR Competition wheels, one slightly damaged on inside of rim. 16x7.5, 5x100 bolt pattern, +35 ET offset, 57.1mm aluminum center bore rings, center caps included.

These are original authentic SSR "Semi Solid forged" wheels, Anthracite color with polished aluminum lip. They are ultra light weight, approx 12lbs each.

The finish is in excellent condition, I only used them in the summer. There is no curb rash on any of the lips, they have the occasional very light nicks from normal use. The center caps are in good condition and I have actually never used them but have a few nicks in them from poor packaging by the mfgr. The nicks in the caps are nothing major and not really visible but i want to disclose everything. The damage to the one wheel is on the inside of the one rim and it was caused by a ball joint bolt failure and the control arm dropped down on the inside of the wheel and scored the rim. The depth of the scoring is approx .030" as best I can measure.

I ran these wheels for 2 years even after the damage to the one occurred, I am selling them because I have upgraded to a 17" wheel to accommodate bigger brakes.

They will be packaged properly and shipped in the original boxes. These were originally $325 each when purchased new. I am asking $625 for the set of four plus shipping.

Man, those are so awesome looking. Those are about the only 16" wheels I'd put on my car. I hope someone takes these, that's a SWEET deal on them. You should post a picture of them on your car. Anyone looking for wheels wouldn't be able to resist!

Thanks, Jon, here is a pic of them on my car. As you can see a near perfect match for the Charcoal ground effects. Probably pretty close to the 87 CSX too.

I went through the pics on your site last night. Man nice stuff there. Seen it in person and before but everything is so clean, it's hard not to keep looking at the pics.

Damn, thats light! ... How big of brakes will they fit? Will they fit with the stock size spring seats?

+1 to Chris' car being CLEAN! Looks great, I'm guessing the 17's will too!

Very nice. I have generic wheels that are basically copies of these on my car. I should buy these but I am not so sure it is in the budget...

How much would the shipping be to 85226?

Chris, I'm sure you don't want to split them up so if anyone has an interest in just two, please let me know.

Are you referring to clearing the lower part? I ran 17x7.5 Superior Scoundrels on my car with 205/40-17s before, I think they will clear. Not sure what the offset was, but it worked. I can only imagine these will as well.

I'm pretty sure they will with the 35mm offset, but just want to make sure.... my concern is the dspring seat as the GC coil overs dont have that on them.

    yes, I'm interested

Re: SSR Competition Wheels 16x7.5, 5x100

JT, yea, they will clear the front lower spring perch, I ran 225/50/16 tires which is about the same diameter as the stock 205/55/16 tires so there should not be any issues as long as you stick close to the stock overall diameter. The +35 offset helps keep it out from the strut body and even with -2 deg of camber I only ran a 3mm spacer up front for a little extra clearance.

for your other question about the brakes, these SSRs will obviously clear the stock 11" brakes and would probably handle a 12" custom rotor/caliper. For 13" rotors a 17" wheel with good spoke clearance is required.
