    Under drive pulley belts.

I bought an under drive crank pulley from FWD Performance. It came with belts, but they're all too short.
It's the right pulley and all the accessories have their original pulleys.
Anyone else have an issue with this?

I emailed FWD, but haven't heard back yet.

When did you email them? If it was today, I'd give them some time to answer.

Some A/C pulleys, and A/C idler pulleys are larger than others, depending on what compressor you have. PS belt should fit though.

    It's an 86.
    I emailed them on Monday.
It's not a big deal, I can measure and get belts that fit from the auto parts store. It's just a pain in the ---.

Here are the belts that work:
Gates 7420 for the power steering.
Gates K040384 for the water pump.
    Gates 7460 for the A/C

Thanks to Joe for his help finding these.

    Re: Under drive pulley belts.

close enough, here's the file I keep so I always know what belt lengths to get for my cars since I run a UDP and older style water pump.

These are the Part #'s and lengths I use on my 87 ShelbyZ which is a
2.5 with the old waterpump setup so the belt lengths should be the
    same.

    5040 37.8"
    15 41.0"
    15 46.0"

    The 5040 # I believe is the alt/waterpump belt. And the 2nd # starting
with 15 is the PS and the next is A/C. Take all the #'s in each line
for a total part #. The last 3 digits (37.8) for example is the length
    of the belt.

Use a rope, pen and paper.

5 mins tops to measure whatever belts you need.

I did, that's how I came up with these:

Here are the belts that work:
Gates 7420 for the power steering.
Gates K040384 for the water pump.
    Gates 7460 for the A/C

    Re: Under drive pulley belts.

hehe I did mine through trial and error.

As for a difference?? well on my 89 CB 2.5 that had an aluminum flywheel, not to much. It did spin much faster when the starter was engaged in the morning. Made a machine gun sound instead of a boom boom boom sound when starting. So the starter is definately turning it over much easier. But you really didn't feel much difference.

On my 89 CB 2.2 Auto it made a much more noticable difference, the car was MUCH smoother, and felt like you had bolted a 2.5 under the hood instead of the 2.2. MPG climbed 1-2 MPG consitently.

I'll run them on all my cars no matter what.
