Thoughts On FM Lightweight Steel Clutch

    http://www.forwardmotioninc.com/html...e_buildup3.htm

Has anyone used this? I'd like to look into a lightweight flywheel, and I've only heard about the aluminum. I think this might be a nicer option.

    Thanks,

IMO, I think the aluminum is too light. So steel is a better choice for our cars.
I had my stock flywheel lightened about 25% (almost). Mine was 19.5 lbs to start and ended up being 15.0 lbs. I love it. The cost for this was $105 which included, lightening, balancing and resurfacing.

But that is a nice flywheel from FM...but $270

Where did you have your fly wheel machined?

Price may have changed since I had that done some time ago.
