Pretty much all (except the very newest) TPS work the same: 0v (very close anyway) = idle, 5v (again, or very close to it) = WOT

So, as long as you can physically hook up the electrical side of things, you are good to go.

That said, using a MOPAR TPS will be plug-and-play.... I guess it just depends on how tough it is to mod the Ford TB to accept the TM TPS...

Actually anything above 3.5v and the ECU assumes WOT. I think my TPS puts out like 3.69v at WOT.

Yeah, that part depends on the manufacture's software, but the sensors themselves are of a 0-5V design, as are most other sensors...

My point was that just about any TPS can be used, so the 5.0 unit should be a good choice as they are common and reliable...

And the best part about TD's is everytime you turn the car off then on, the computer relearns the TPS setting. So if you hold the throttle at a 1/4, shut the car off then on, it will now think 1/4 throttle is idle,

Thanks! It took a little longer then expected, and I wanted to give up a few times, but it was worth it in the long run. I just have to get my 3 welded up now.

Is there such thing as taking as long as predicted? I know there isn't in my world. Heck, I expect to have my control arms done last summer.
