    5X114.3 wheel options?

Ok as some of you know I am working out all the details on my 2nd Rampage. I am building an AWD and will be going with the 5x114.3 wheels. I'm trying to find a wheel that will compiment it (would like to run a wheel with a similar look to a torque thrust or cragar design but am unsure as to what offset I should be looking for. I understand that the stock dodge wheels are ~40 mm offset but how far can I go on either side of that number? I am going to keep this truck at stock height also if that helps at all.

    Thanks in advance.

grab some 16" lace or basket weave pattern wheels off a 1990-94 plymouth laser.

    16X7 with a 4x114.3 bolt pattern.

    Re: 5X114.3 wheel options?

I'd kinda like to grab some wheels from a Mustang but I don't know what offset they are.

BTW Jason the project is still at a standstill. My parts are still sitting at work outside but I came up with a free rear end and possibly free front spindles off some cars out back at work.

How the hell are those going to fit?

Grand Caravan and vans with stock 15" wheels come with the larger bolt pattern.

use some widebody starion/conquest rims lol non sports handling package is 16x8 rear and 16x7 front, the sport handling (available 88-89) is 16x8 front and 16x9 rear and can take 255 width tires which is what i had used on those package rims but i heard of people even going wider yet. They look sweet polished too!!!

ooof thats a good question, i used to know it and i totally forget now. Im pretty sure the fronts have a 0 offset. Rears 11? i can find out. BTW if you can try to grab the shp's. Im sure i can find u a set over at sqc site. I have had about 8 sets over of the shp rims and uncountable reg widebody rims haha.

    Re: 5X114.3 wheel options?

wow close but no cigar lol, heres the numbers...
reg widy rims fronts and rears are +18mm
SHP rims front 8" rims is -10mm and the rear 9" are 0 mm offset.

Now thinking about it, idk how the offset will affect a TM. Since they are FWD and not too wide a car, idk how it would look let alone fit. The rear SHP 9" wide rims ahve the 0 offset which would help fitment BUT they are just so friggin wide lol. That would be the possible hinderence for wheel to hub clearance fit.

    Re: 5X114.3 wheel options?

    I sell Mustang rims...and Vettes, SRT4, SRT10 truck, and misc other rims/tires.

The OLD school Mustangs have 15+ offset but lots of after market rims use 0 offset.
    1994-2004 have 24+ offset
    2005+ have a 42 offset!

You might get a set of 2005-2009 Bullitts and they MIGHT fit. I went to put some on my 2001 Caravan and even thou the offset was VERY close to the stock rims the spokes were hitting a metal bridge that is on the calipers! I used studs off a Dakota that were a finer thread and a bit longer along with a set of 1/4 inch spacers and DANG it looked cool! I had ordered some after market center caps with a flat serface for the 05+ Mustang rim and covered them with black decal material. I was going to place a set of Pentastar emblems that come on the first Neons made. Those were on the hood. Let me know whaat other rims from what cars you have in mind and I can search their offset and backspacing. The website I normally use for that is down for now.

The SRT8 I THINK has a 5x115mm bolt pattern..like some fwd newer GMS....only like .007" difference from the Mustangs.

No, but I always just mail out flyers with photos of the rims and their prices.

A set of 18x9 Black Bullit rims with a machine polished edge is $545 with the offset for a 05-2010 model Mustang (42 mm). Call for details gang 765-455-1410. I do my own deliveries to KY, the western 2/3s of Ohio, IL, lower 2/3 of MI, IN, and SE corner of WI.
