salvage yard, should have plently Spirits...
You know, I actually went to the bone yard but the only two cars I found didnt have the tachometer, just a big --- gas gauge in its place. I'm really wanting the 92 cluster and I'm almost positive I wont find one of those in the yard.Originally Posted by moparfwdsleeper
You have to find a Spirit ES in the yard...good luck, they pop in from time to time. He didn't want my 91 cause the mileage was too high.

I may be able to find you a 90-91 Spirit ES cluster...yards around here want 30-40 dollars for them though.

Look out for the 89-91 clusters, the odometer gears strip. 1992+ are good. Check loaded Spirits and Lebaron Sedans.
I think thats whats wrong with mine. The odo just quit.
Does anyone know why that happens (gears strip)?
I've made it a habit to grab gears when I find them, but I hate tearing up good clusters. ..though they'll probably get crushed anyway.
Yes I've seen that odo gears website but I think it's a bit pricy and what will keep those from breaking?
Can you plop an 92 speedo into lets say an 87 Daytona?
