    car wont start

    well car wont start car did run and drive but the timming was off tried to reset the timeing but soon as i pulled the temp sensor it stalled any ways a friend off mine got the timming done but car wont start now the car was running super rich i change the oil (lot of gas in oil ) have any of you guys had this happend too you im running a 2.5 c block bored 20 over the ecm that i was useing was makeing it run rich so i put the 2.2 ecm back in the car just to get it to run but still ne start not sure what to do now i would think it would be something small or easy

    if i put it to the floor it will start after a min but the car dont sound to good

    The timing might be off that bad or else the HEP could be bad.

    Any codes?

    What is the ignition timing set to? Did you check to see if the cam timing is on or if it skipped a tooth?

    it was hard to set the timming because the car wnated to stall
    so the timing could be off i wont have to to check the timeing till saturday

    only codes i get are 12 and 55
    not sure on cam timing

    Did you just have the motor apart prior to it not running properly? Just asking to rule out improper distributer/intermediate shaft timing.

    did not have mortor apart but i did re set the intermediate shaft but
    car did start and run

    What was the original problem that caused you to try to reset the timing?

    i went to check the timeing when i got a new ecm
    and when i pulled the temp sensor it would stall
    so i reset the timeing and oil pump and rotor i could never read what the timing was
    so i let a turbododge friend do it now it wont start

    If you put in a different computer and didnt drive it it may stall when you pull the coolant sensor plug, especially if its still cold. The computer takes a little bit to 'learn' when first installed.

    Which computer is this? stock?

    the computer is a stock 2.5 m p with a chip in it for 20% injecters
    it also did the same thing when i put the stock 2.2 t2 back in it

    new up date on car i clean the plugs today and the car started
    but i forgot my timeing light and fule presure gauge
    also i bought a 2.5 stock computer for 50 doller
