    Fix that right up.

Don't be discouraged. It's a relatively minor setback compared to the rest of the build!

Thats the plan. I would like to do some testing before SDAC if possible. Brian is just tracking down the cause of my oil smoking. It's smoked since I got it running last year. Very similar to Mike's TIII GTP.

It's hard to mistake our cars though, Adam's is the fast/pretty one. lol

Man, I sure hope so! Feels like I haven't had a chance to enjoy this car at all since I bought. One problem after the other and I've put too much money into it to not be able to enjoy it.

Lol. Not for long at this rate!

Well Brian called me and told me he pulled the head. Much like Mike Wa's GTP, my valve to guide clearance was too much(at least on the one he measured). Head is getting taken care of and hopefully I can having it running right in a month or so. **fingers crossed**

Re: The Making of the "GLH-R/T"

Got the car back from Brian on Friday, Steve redid my head and put in 15 new valve guides/seals on(thanks Steve and Brian!). Unfortunately, the car still smokes FML. The good news is the compression and leakdown are good and the car is running fine besides the smoking after decel or idle. Gonna try one more thing to stop the smoking.

I will be running the car at SDAC! Looking forward to getting some baseline numbers and turning up the boost throughout the day! Gonna put a cheap suspension on it this week if I have time. See everybody there!

    Re: Another Holset TIII..

So sad and so true. It has made it to the track twice since it ran. 1st time was with me and Brian and I had the timing advance issue that kept me from running. Then I ran it at Cecil, 1st slow start test pass ran a 12.9. 2nd pass broke an axle. 3rd pass the timing issue came back and I bent a rod.

This car is haunted. Wish me luck at SDAC!
