Need a set of 8 valve spring retainers for the '99 LS1 Camaro (5.7L OHV V8). The local GM dealer wants $5.85 EACH and PartSource / Canadian Tire don't stock them. I've heard that down in the States the price is only like $1 per retainer from the dealer. Could anyone pickup a set of 8 from your local dealer (as long as it's cheaper than $5 ea) and send them my way? REALLY appreciated! Payment shall be sent ASAP via PayPal.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong part, www.rockauto.com has them for 14 cents a piece. Shipping to your area would be like 22.00. If you look around the net, several car forums usually have a discount code you could use to knock another 5% off.

Those are the keepers, which keep the retainer in place; not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway! Another board member messaged me and said he could get some.
