Yeah, it really sounds like your just above idle,The exhaust system is pretty quiet don’t you think. Actually, I'm leaving at about 3500 with 4-5psi boost. I'm still working on my launch technique though.

Was talking with a very good friend of mine earlier this week. He mentioned this thread and commented that this is one of the most impressive accomplishments for a TD in recent years. I would have to agree. Going mid 10's the first time out in a FWD that wieghs 3000lbs is something very few (if any) have done.

I don't get it. JT runs low total timing also. I am running a ton more timing on pump gas.

More timing never made any more horsepower at the dyno with this car It just didn't need it.
It's called high comp.and low timing that is the trick.I am running a ton more timing on pump gas

i would keep the car the way it is a build a drag car out of something else. Eh me personally I would run a project car for each type of customer you have.

Kevin, I didn't recognize you by your screen name. We've been trying to get in touch with you since the event so we could get some information as to what other companies were involved with the build. I ended up doing a fair amount of retuning for the qtr. mile runs, adding the roll cage and a few other details. Now that I know what the car is doing in the qtr. mile, I plan on making several more changes in hopes of putting the car in the nines. Interesting, how high of timing did you get to on the dyno? I've played with adding a degre or two on the track without any benefit ... yet
