    1988 Shadow ES Driver Seat

I am in need of the seat back or all of a 1988 Shadow ES driver seat (see attached as reference). They are the nice gray seats with the red stripping and awesome side support. Anyway, the lower bolt that holds the back of the seat to the pivoting bracket broke and is stuck in the seat back. So I need a new seat back.

    Thanks,
    Frank

    Frank,

Spirit R/T seats will work also, just switch the mechanisms and headrests

Frank, There is a really nice set of Spirit R/T seats in the junk yard here......same car I got that motor out of. I could probably be talked into going back if you really want them....or one....or whatever.

So they are the same as Shadow ES 88 seats but just different head rests? If so that would be great! I might as well get both unless they are truely the same pattern, etc.

Yup, I picked up a pair a few years ago as spares for my car since the material is a little thin in places and they are a dead ringer for the R/T seats. My headrests were the same size, so you may get lucky.

while the seats have the same style they are way different.

the shadow seats have much more side support and a deeper bucket, the spirit seats are more firm as well.

The Shadow seats are very different from the Sprit ES seats. The Spirit R/T seats are almost identical, other than the back release.
