Wow, a $100 for a new one from Autozone. $75 for one with a tilt column. We need to be stocking up on these from the salvage yard.

I know, it might be cheaper for me to throw in a whole new tilt column.

It looks like the rain will hold off until tomorrow afternoon So I am almost certain I'll be making a yard run in the morning and I'll keep an eye out for one.

And I am sorry to report that there were none to be had. Every first gen mini was either tilt or missing the column entirely.

thanks for looking, they are hard to find, and I have to pass inspection in May.
I will cough up the hundred or change the column if I have to.

Thanks Alan, I have the Richmond guys all checking for me.

Went to PNP yesterday in Va Beach looking for some stuff. All minivans there had tilt.
They had a nice '89 turbo minivan by the way.
If I was you I'd fling a tilt column in it.

What is the difference? Would one not work with the other? Just curious I guess.
