    2.2 c.b. Dipstick tube and dipstick

    2.2 c.b. Dipstick tube and dipstick w/out balance shafts (if that makes a difference) needed.

    The 2.2/non bs dipstick is shorter but the tube is the same.

    you can get them from chrysler i got 2 or 3 for spares

    i heard the tubes were different lengths and they are color coded (black/silver)

    Tube is the same for all 87+ engines (except T3) p/n 4387575

    The black vs silver on the dipstick corresponding to length is true. The common block dipstick (8v only) for engines with balance shafts uses a black cap under the T-handle p/n 4483102 . Engines without balance shafts use a slightly shorter dipstick with a silver painted cap under the T-handle p/n 4536071

    As of 5/28/2010 the tube and both dipsticks mentioned above are still available from chrysler/mopar.
