    Funky Tach

My tach works about a 1/3 of the time. Since it is a CSXT I want to keep the stock tach. Anybody fix these? I have a spare I can throw in, but I want this one to work. What are the trouble areas that cause the tachs to go bad and work intermitently?

Hmm, never actually pulled the gauge cluster out of my CSX-T (or I'd likely have a perfect one to sell you), but if it's anything like the G-bodies, there is a separate 'tach driver board' that can be either be swapped out, or the connections carefully re-soldered. Now I'm really just guessing here, anyone else have more input?

could be a bad spot in the connection or wires somewhere too.

L bodies have the separate board you are talking about too. Makes sense that a P body would, don't know, only had one and that was 15 years ago now. Kind of miss it...
