need torque spec's on pressure plate bolts, flywheel
need torque spec's on pressure plate bolts, flywheel
flywheel to crank bolts are 70 ft-lbs
pressure plate to flywheel bolts are 21 ft-lbs
i know thats correct but i have a question? 21 ft-lbs seems not much for pressure plate bolts why did chrysler do such a thing
I don't think you need that much. The pressure plate is pushing against the flywheel, and keeps it from moving maybe.
It's a good question...I was wondering the same thing when I was putting the clutch in the charger.
I've seen that hold 467 ft lbs at the wheels. It works...
