You really shouldn't see much of a fluctuation at WOT. It should be very repeatable. Do you drag the brakes while at WOT to stay at a set RPM for a time, and then take your readings?

I recommend that method highly. It's a great way to set your pumping efficiency table. Just make sure you have the lowest boost possible, preferably with the WG flapper removed from the WG itself. If you compare the observed AFR with the predicted outcome in the WOT table, you can adjust the pumping table at that RPM accordingly and do so roughly every 1000RPM to have a complete table. What's nice about this in addtion to this is that you can change your gear without effecting the load on the engine and keep your ground speeds reasonable. I'm sure the police have seen me going by with the brakes glowing many times, but my speed was within the legal limit or reasonably close to it.

IIRC Dave Zelkowski went through three sets of pads tuning the S60 package.

The data org statement referenced early on in this thread; is it equivalent to data definition statement? I haven't been able to find anything about data org statements online.

    Re: MPTuner

the DataOrg in the tpl file tells the assembler where to begin loading the table definition bytes. so during assembly, the asm file is read as well as the tpl file. e.g. in the smec asm, you will find a line that says DataOrg==0x8000. and in the tpl you will find a line that says .org DataOrg. so as the assembler is creating the bin file bytes it gets to that line in the tpl file. it then substitutes DataOrg with the actual value of 0x8000. so it basically creates the line .org 0x8000 which makes all bytes "defined" after that line to be loaded at 0x8000 and later.

Is MPTune still working? I downloaded it after not using it for years. I downloaded it from what appeared to be a NAS somewhere. I cannot open any tpl files I just get an error

It worked for me the last time I used it. That was late last summer though.

    What is the error?
The .asm file needs to be in the same folder as the .tpl
That is a common error. But knowing which error you are getting will help get advice.
