    1987 GLHS #536 45k Unrestored

With a heavy heart, I am listing this 87 Shelby GLHS #536. It is as stock as if it rolled out of the factory(minus different tires). Every shelby item is there. This isn't perfect but it is unrestored.
    THE GREAT:
*This is a second owner car and has been garaged inside since 1988 when my dad bought it with 20k. In the last 20 years he has put 25k on it.
    *It has 45k original
*It runs and drives amazing (like it was straight out of the factory)
*It still has the original HEADGASKET!
*Everything is numbers matching (trans and engine are original)
*The shelby items are in fantastic conditon. (konis, momo shift knob, wheels, plaque, valve cover, stickers, cluster, etc)
    *E-brake works GREAT
    *DOES NOT NEED WINDOW SCRAPERS!
*There is a TON of paper work and reciepts on the car in the glove box.
*The rod linkage has been rebuilt with in the last year
*The fuel pump was replace 2 years ago as well as the fuel filter
    *Tune up 2 years ago
    *new hatch struts
*NEW BFG tires with about 3000 miles on them
*Clutch was replaced when my dad first got it and feels fine
*****THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN MODDED******
*There is absolutely not a spec of rust on the car.
    *Handles great!
*Car still hauls for a 20 y/o original
    THE NOT SO GREAT:
    *a/c compressor doesnt work anymore
*the paint is starting to show its age. No fade or clear coat damage just some chips (the hood) a good scratch on the front fender, A couple marks here and there
*body has some parking lot dings
    *the interior needs a headliner
*normal bolster wear on the seat (really not that bad)
*sale panels are starting to flake
*original radio works but needs bushing in buttons refurbished and a new tape deck door
    HERE ARE PICTURES

Here is a walk around vid of the car running. The slider cam isnt really that loud its just what my crappy camera picks up

This car has been in the family before I was born. My dad has lost interest in the car and wants to focus on the muscle cars.
But he isnt gonna let go easy.
He wants 8k FIRM for the car. 2 years ago we drove it to Kentucky and back (1000 miles) with absolutely NO issues. If we took it out of the garage today it would fire right up and make any trip and I will put a guarantee on that.

Economy sucks. Yard is not doing great. So the toys have gotta go.
This is the least important on his list of cars to keep so it goes on the chopping block first

The car looks great, If I didn't have so many cars, I'd really look at it closer. That car looks so much better than both of mine.
Good luck with the sale. (I really think you need to buy it yourself)

    You need another
I would also buy it if I had the money. I barely have gas money right now.
I love the car and I want to see it go to a good home. I'd stand firm on keeping it if the yard wasn't doing so poorly. And all the muscle cars are worth keeping. The 69 roadrunner was his high school car and the bird... Well ya you've seen the bird
