Judging by 440's "these are the parts I've gathered" list in the TIII subforum, we are gonna have to wait a lil bit for pics

An L body that Drag races AND Road races, can't be done

It should be more possible on a FWD car than a RWD car. Atleast making the suspension stiffer on a FWD helps both drag and road racing.

RWD is a bigger issue because you want the springs soft for drag (to get weight transfer) and stiff for road (for handling).

Suspension wise if you get a good set of coilovers you can adjust the shocks/struts and you can also change out the springs in a couple hours.

I ordered a special combination of BC coilovers for the charger last week so in a couple of weeks they should be in and I can post pictures. This should be a better setup than the converted koni Gbody struts that I have on there now.

That just makes me imagine a gray rampage in your signature pic with 2 kids in the bed seats sticking their tongues out at the 'stangs.. maybe not safe, but definitely funny.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

Will do. They are basically a 2G neon strut with a 1G neon spindle connection. It requires GKJHP spindles. I need to call them back on the rears which will probably be 1G eclipse rears with no hats.

I will update everyone when it is finalized. I might switch to an a slightly longer strut body than the 2G neon (MK3 Golf or Impreza) for the lbody as stock lbody is about an inch longer. The 2G neon is perfect for the non lbody though.

    Re: omni drag/scca suspension

iam not wanting a perfect scca type car hell i was beating most of the cars with slicks with a stock 3.0 shadow with radials from my junkyard i just want it to be roadcoarse frendly but i can make a few changes and have a good drag setup

i guess i could post up pics of my h-beam rods and venolia pistons my arp bolts and my precision turbo if you guys really need proof? i ran 13.1@94 with a blown hg as soon as i hit full boost in 4th gear on a stock intercooler to boot

as soon as my buddy gets back from iraq i gotta go pick the car up he was going to make a roadcoarse car out of it with a vnt setup out of his csx

Ultimate drag/scca would be 2 cars. 1 for drag, 1 for scca.
