I was wondering how you made out with customaluminumboxes. He was very helpful and accurate when I ordered mine.

Thanks a TON Carroll for recommending this guy! He was great to work with and I'm sure I'll be working with him again!

No problem! You can't beat his prices for aluminum boxes, PERIOD and the quality of the box is great...even comes with the protective plastic adhered to it. I was thinking about asking him to start making some DIY catch can set-ups for our community. I'm sure he could make a simple baffle plate and include it with the box, you just need to get it welded up.....back to you thread, sorry

Anything newer to around the late 90's early 2000's and its a bolt on. Lugert sells them brand new.

Except that I had Lugert add an internal regulator to mine.

Also, you may need some brackets, wiring harness to add to earlier vehicles.

    Re: Reeves' OMNI GLH-R Update!

Been a while since I updated, but I've been slow the past few weeks to get anything done to the car. Been busy on straigtening out my basement (a TM Walmart!).

Added a flat pin style connector to my ribbon cable that plugs in the ZIF socket in the LM. Fits WAY nicer! Chip now back in glove box. Put a nicer kick panel over the LM and wiring. Looks nice...stock.

While doing that, I bumped my head on the glove box door and the glued on knob fell off.....again. Did some fancy drill/tapping and it now has a screw on the inside. Looks nice...stock.

Fixed a fuel fitting Sunday night that should have been replaced 2 years ago. Anytime the car sits for a while, the fitting would leak, but after it leaked a little bit, it would quit for a while. I had tried to replace last year, but the fitting I got wouldn't fit my hose. So, this year I had another fitting, that fit the hose and the rail, but the 90* radius was just a bit bigger and was hitting the throttle body. Ended up using a 45* fitting in the rail and a 45* hose end and now it is better than it was before. Plus I already had the parts in my shop! Sweet deal!

Also removed the back part of the rear seat for some work. Weighs 20lbs. Right now.

Removed cover and started drilling spot welds.

Fired the car up and let it warm up a while. OH THE SMELL OF RACE FUEL BURNING!!! I was running around like a kid with a new toy! Adjusted the idle and checked timing. Then opened the windows to let some of the fumes out and drank a celebration beer!
