yeah that would have been badass, before it burned up, i was going to keep the trusty slant 6 in it too so maybe it may have happened, carb would make it a pain in the butt though.

I still have it, but parts are nonexistent. One year only car they had those tail lights and front end.

Yikes , after I read the "burned up" I checked out your cardomain page .....bummer .

Slants LOVE boost .Carbs actually work well . After seeing Tom's (Shaker 223) Slant Turbo build , I'd NEVER pull one out in favor of a V-8 !!

Wow, colossal downer about the Dart. I will be keeping that accident in mind the next time I pull a fuel tank for sure.

I've always had a thing for wagons. I grew up in them and my first big resto was a 1971 Dodge Crestwood. It had a 383 and a four speed factory original. I have my 1970 AMC Rebel now and just picked up a 1996 Roadmaster wagon . Leather, 7 passenger, LT1 5.7 liter motor, power everything. Great car for $3000. It's my daily driver and kid hauler.

Very cool. I would love a 4 speed wagon.

I forgot to mention that the tilt wheel wiring had a tendency to short and burn the dash wiring in the T&C. 74-77. At least that was my experience. Just set the tilt where it's good and leave it.

Also have a spare ballast resistor in the glove box. They went out when wet.

I always wanted a Satellite or Coronet to make into a muscle car clone. This Super Bee wagon is exactly what I'd like to have.

I wouldn't mind a diesel SUV of that type. I would not want a project though. That thing will be sweet when done for sure.

I grew up driving around with my Dad in his rebel wagon. That's why I bought mine when I saw it. They used to be everywhere (Here in Kenosha) but now I think I have the only two in town.
The blue one is for parts/ possible hot rod. It doesn't have a floor anymore.

Jerry Clay and Greg Swerderski (Auto Parts City, Waukegan IL) had a 1970 Coronet wagon like that and the hood. They cut it up for parts and crushed the shell.

Nice C body. A guy had a really nice early 70's C body wagon on the 2009 Power Tour. Brown w/ wood, 30 passenger...
    I have a photo somewhere.

Thanks for all the compliments on my Satellite guys.
Yes that paint code is HT6.

There is nothing like driving a classic wagon. They are so much better than today's suvs and minivans it's not even comparable.
