I made a test cover for the bottom with crappy scrap leather. Made some small adjustments to my patterns, so the bottoms are ready to roll.

Hey, I'm actually about to attempt to do the same thing to my seats. Reupholstering the seats seems simple enough, just have to take my time. It's awesome when your mom has an industrial sewing machine!

I redid my sun visors from maroon to black:

Its really nice to have NEW interior pieces, whether you redo them yourself or have someone else do it like Mopar318.

Awesome job! The covers also have a thin layer of foam sewn to the back of them correct? Are you reusing the old foam or what kind of foam are you using?

I am using new scrim backed sew foam. 1/2" on the center sued inserts, and 1/4" on the rest just like the factory used.

Both Bottoms done. Working on the backs this weekend. Problems with the materials being sent wrong, and embroidery being done upside-down are slowing progress more than I want, but those type of things happen when you cant go to the local auto parts store and pick up your supplies.

Looks Great! Will you be able to make these and ship them out ready-to-install, or will ppl have to ship you their seats for install?

I will be able to make these and ship them yes. You will however have to cut out the foam piece out of the stock cover on the bottom cushion, and then glue it to the seat foam. Its real easy, and I would supply a pint of glue so that you could just brush it on both surfaces and stick it on.

Nice! Is that the same as spray-on upholstery glue?

Its not the same stuff you can buy at autozone in a aerosol can. I use weldwood or 3M trim & landau top adhesive. Its a yellow glue, and its very heavy bodied so its sprayed out a of a regular paint or spray gun. You can also brush it on. Just uses alot more glue, and takes alot longer

Backs are done. Still need to carress the covers, and put in a little steam and it will smooth right out.
