Any intrest in ready to install new upholstery?

If there is a enough intrest, I will be making patterns for the daytona seats to make ready to install upholstery. This would replace your old worn out upholstery. I would have everything sewn up and ready to go, and all you would have to do is take the seats out, and replace the old stuff with the new.

Pricing for a pair of front seats would run $500-$700 depending on what materials you would like to use.

The pattern would be for this style of seat. I belive these are used in the daytona, spirit, and shadow, and maybe others as well.

I did, have a set of seats from a l-body that I threw away when I moved. I should have kept them. Those seats are actually alot easier to install the upholstery on.

If there is intrest on these I can make patterns for them.

    YES, YES, YES
(now I just need to find a set of seats like that)

If you make them could you get the grey with red stripes material used in ES/RS P bodys, ES & R/T Spirts ? I know upholstery labor and material isnt cheap. but if you could pull that off

I know what material your talking about. It may not be the EXACT material, but it would be close. I will have a flat charge for labor, materials will be added to that, so what ever you choose, is what you pay.

What about the padding? Would you have replacement for that as well? I have a Shelby Charger.

Daytona fabric seats have the foam bonded to the fabric and then a fabric mesh underneath.

If there is anybody close to my location, and would like to drop the seats off I could recover them for fairly cheap in order to get teh patterns I need.

Is it the same wheel as the mid 90's dakotas?

Actually foam is not bonded to the fabric. On the insert the upholstery is made into a pocket, then the center insert foam goes into the pocket, you close the flap and hog ring it close. Then the insert hog rings to the frame

I guess I should wear my glasses!

The TC by Maserati might be a good idea also. More money floating around there and most driver's seats are rotted.

I could drop you off a set....I'm not sure if I need a set recovered or not...but your more then welcome to experiment on them. I wouldn't mind discussing some interior options for future reference though.....like door panels and headliners.....

Thats funny....I'm changing the interiors on 2 of my projects to black..... I am going to use aftermarket seats on 1 but the other I was contemplating all black......and maybe even a different material besides the cloth....
