    high idle on

first start up that lasts till after I drive around for a minute, can this be a bad or going bad TPS? also after it has been warmed and driven and sitting still idle I can give it alittle throttle and it stays in high RPM for a good bit.

    FYI I have a 89 T2 with a 1 peice intake and a stock holly TB

Sounds more like an AIS problem to me. Is the clip that hold the plug onto it good? Mine is broke, and the plug has fell out of the AIS several times on me, usually after a hard bump or a full-power shift.

    Re: high idle on

As far as I know it is all good, But I'll check that out. Also been getting what seems to be a misfire changed the plugs and by it was no wonder .30 on 1 .35 .38 .30 on the other so I changed the plugs to a NGK plug and set them all at .30 but im still getting a misfire, So im thinking about pulling them and reseting them to 35 and seeing if that helps
