I was searching for window wipes in a local junkyard where I came across a maroon 88 Daytona. Thinking not much of finding a 'rare' Daytona in the yard, I think this one is. It was a 88 Pacifica maroon on red interior, 5-speed Turbo. How many did they make of these? This was not wrecked and could be saved. I also found a red 86 Daytona CS Turbo that was hit in the front and rolled but still had some good parts. Too bad the window wipes were dry rotted on the 88 :-(
Looks like 946 5-speeds with the Std. Federal Turbo 1
its rare these days go pillage all you can.

one of the local yards here just has lebarons, no daytonas.

didn't the yard up by you have 2 and you where going to get one?
and the 89 has a junk shield in it it was an aftermarket one so i wanted to see if i can remove one myself with a puddy knife just using the garbage windshield as a practice and it cracked haha so back to the plan of asking the windshield guys to remove one for me
Yep, well, after looking it over the '88 had actually separated the laminate in the bottom drivers-side corner so it was fubar. Then they crushed that Laser too(even though it wouldn't work anyway). It's just the way my luck rolls...

id pick it up if you can i like the pacifica's alot an considering it was only made for 2year's they are kinda rare which is why im going to buy my old pacifica back.
Yes Daytona Pacificas were only made 2 years 1987 & 1988
and in 88 only 4300 were made and of that only 1000 had t tops
There are rare if possible should be saved.
