Hey I was told to use a 5th (cold start) injector out of a Saab?? for my water/meth injection. Why wouldn't one work say out of a 318 Magnum motor?

I don't see why not, you'll just have to test a bunch to see what each flows. Also, I could be wrong on this but the regular alky pumps might not put out enough pressure for them to work properly.
318 doesn't have a cold start injector. Most cold starts were a band aid solution in the late 80's, early 90's until they figured out how to program properly.
The Rotary guys use regular fuel injectors for their alky but I don't know how they would hold up over a long period of time, maybe find some FFV injectors.

i ran a stock T1 injector for a while it seemed to work ok. i would check it once a month to make sure it is still flowing. I knw that some people use the FFV injectors, my problem was my pump froze up. So i wasn't able to give it a endurance test.
Well whats the difference? Do the internals of a stock injector not hold up to the alcohol (dry-up) and whats different about the cold start, ffv?
