LW rod?
I don't see why it wouldn't hold up as long as there was no detonation.

true but still was spinning the wheels in 3rd in peak boost , dont know how much hp i have but new stock clutch dont hold the 4-5 gear
next step is 2.5 cb with 3bar cal and 6 puck ,same set-up but 4 runners alky nozzles and will try to get 10.5 :1 to 11.5 air fuel ratio
At 16 PSI my LW rod engine pushed my GLHS to 12.69@109 on radials and spun in 3rd. Even in a LW L body the T2/T3 clutch slipped in high gear and the timing hole in the trans looked like a smoke stack. Then the engine caved not long after. This was with +20s and a MP stage 2. A slipping clutch and tires made life easy on the engine, had the clutch and tires hooked hard the engine would have caved sooner.
Lean it up, get a good clutch and some tires and things will change
