    DOHC head

I am looking for a DOHC head to use on a 2.5L common block project. TIII would be nice, but am open to 2.0 head or anything else that can be used. Thanks

    Re: DOHC head

I have a complete 2.4 head off a '97 Stratus. $150 shipped for the complete head w/ cams and valve cover. I have the intake, fuel rail and injectors, and TB too if needed (extra money though ).

I think part of my question got answered, I guess the 2.0 and 2.4 heads will both work based on the postings above. I guess I will have to go back to pick-n-pull soon.

    Re: DOHC head

they take lots of work to install and as far as i know the 2.4 head is better but the cams from the 2.0 are way better. so maybe mix and match at the pick n pull to save some $$

Ok, thanks for the information. It will, of course, be turbo when it is done.

Same head, different cams. 2000 and up they are slightly different again.

2.0L and 2.4L dohc are the same from 95-99.

The 2000+ 2.4L has smaller exhaust valves (2mm smaller than early dohc head), exhaust ports, and smaller cam profiles.
