and the the clutch pedal just went straight to the floor. any ideas on what happen? the clutch is about 1k miles old

I've heard they do that when they try to self adjust. Check the cable, and check the connection outside the tranny.
everything is fine. pedal just goes to the floor with easy, i mean.... it barely pulls up on the clutch arm thing or w/e its called.

Well, if the cable is still connected, then the adjuster must have broken. Try to pull the pedal towards you to reset the adjuster. There is a spring loaded adjuster in the pedal arm that puts tension on the cable to take out the slack and the pivot has teeth on it that locks the adjuster while to push the pedal. You'll have to stand on your ear to see it, but make sure it is doing its thing.
ya well if its broken then how can i reset it.... its probably just broken, so i'll just put a new one in i guess.
