    Putting The Trans Back In

It was a real PITA but I finally got it back in. The question is, do the bolts need to be torqued down to a specific torque? It doesn't say in the manual. Also, what about the diff cover?

Thanks a bunch. I wish they would have listed that in the service manual.

Nope, but I had to make sure and look and it's at the end of the chapter. I just kept hitting the auto trans section and thinking it wasn't there.

Now, here's another question. Bolts, which go where. We didn't exactly keep them in good order when we took them out.

It is listed in the back of the trans section with a slew of torque specs by trans type.

They list it at the beginning of the book.
