    Replacing The Fuel Lines

This project has taken a turn and to make a long story short I am ending up replacing the fuel lines. However, I understand that fuel injection system are under a lot of pressure. Does this mean that I need to take precautions when disconnecting the lines such as vent off the pressure?

You can sefely bleed off the fuel pressure at the fuel rail schrader valve. Cover it with a rag while you depress the valve with a screwdriver. Even when it's bled out, I'd still be very cautious of fuel dripping in other areas of the fuel system.
