    89 tc dohc

    i need a vale spring bucket i broke mine by missing a shift and reving to high. thankx

    Hmmm, I have extra valves, extra springs, extra retainers but buckets? I don't think so I did pull some buckets out of a Mercedes in a J'yard that have exactly the right diameter for DOHC Masi's. Only problem is, they have a button lifter in them Rick at RDIperformance.com may have some buckets Paul...

    That's those weak valve springs for yeah!
    I would also check on Arizonaparts.com. The last time I checked Marty had a listing for a bunch of shims and misc. 16V valvetrain parts. Maybe some buckets. I'll keep a horseshoe in my back pocket for you for a few days.

    FYI- Just make sure you know if you have a early or later head as the bucket diameter changed. Part #4425603 til engine #1083 -4425968 after engine # 1083.

    Those are the 'larger' (early)32.XX shims right? Pic is soft but I think that's what they are. Now I know why they were 'preproduction' and the 31 mm shims were used for the 'production' motors. The smaller diameter shim leaves a bunch more thickness in the bucket 'wall' area that retains the shim. I thought you had told me when we talked at SDAC New Stanton a couple years ago that you parted a TC to get that motor? AFAIK all the preproduction stuff were crate or race motors...
