1983.5 Shelby Charger & 83 Turismo 2.2

Here is another shot from the early 90's of an 83.5 Shelby Charger, a friend driving it for a photo shoot we did with about 12 Shelby Chargers(will post those later). I was 2nd owner on this one and have a ton of paper work including the broadcast sheet. I am not sure if this car exists today?


This was an original 83 Turismo 2.2 that I customized. NOS Hood, Shelby sail panels & taillights, Shelby ground effects, Pizza wheels, lowered ( before custom springs were available ) Header with split exhaust using 2 78 KZ1000 Z1R motorcycle mufflers (before cans) 2.2 5 speed. Rear window louvers, GLHS decals, Porsche Red Basecoat clearcoat. Sold car and sadly was abused to death and ended up in salvage yard

That Turismo does look nice. Too bad it isn't still around. That would go well with Alan's GLHS.
