    Question Brake lines question

So rust enjoyed my brake lines, and they need replacing. I have 3/16 line on the way from summit, as well as double flaring dies (already have the tool) and some fittings. Do our cars have equal length brake lines? Do they need them? Only curious if I have to run all new ones, I'd rather do it right the first time.

    Re: Brake lines question

I'd say no on the equal length and my plan for the rear of my car when I do the disc brake conversion is to one line and split it.

I just did my van from the prop valve back and some were longer then the other side, I just did the curly method and no problems

    Re: Brake lines question

So I can clean them up and make them look nice without the pigtails at the prop valve? That's what I wanted to hear

    Re: Brake lines question

I redid all the lines on my GLHS and just bent them like the factory ones that came off. None of them were the same length, I measured each one of them. I have the measurements somewhere.

    Re: Brake lines question

All I was worried about was throwing the car's geometry off while braking. Last thing I wanted was to smash the brakes and veer off to the left because the lines are shorter.
