    Re: Factory Turbo Reliant Wagon

He said they were all built in a two day special run. That the most they could do in that time frame is 40 to 60 cars.

You do know they were made at the Newark assembly plant in Newark, Delaware.

Newark assembly plant in Newark, Delaware...made these cars:

    * Dodge Intrepids and Chrysler Concordes were only built in Newark Assembly from 1994 to 1996. During those years, Newark was an overflow plant for Brampton Assembly.** The J-body Chrysler LeBaron coupes and convertibles were produced in St. Louis Assembly from 1987 to 1991. For 1992, production was shifted to Newark until production ended in 1993 for the coupe and 1995 for the convertible.

    Re: Factory Turbo Reliant Wagon

I've always wished they had built a two door wagon I think it would have looked great

with the long doors it would have been well proportioned too I think

not sure it would be worth the effort to try to make one though - I guess so but I could find a lot of other things to do with that amount of time

    lol
just one of many cars yet to be set free from the inside of my head

    Dodge Aries Nomad?
I really had a project idea to do that to a mid 80's coil sprung malibu and use the back part of a wagon.

The Malibu Nomad has already been made. I saw this car for sale several years ago in the town that I lived in.

Now that i see it, I'm reminded of how closely that actually looks to the original S10 Blazer.

I guess it could be that the different color cars came down different lines at the same time explaining the last six digits being so far off. What we need to find are the VINs from a few more of these cars to see if they have consecutive numbers.
    Youre correct!
    VIN: 1P3BP39E5GF193712
Has an in-service date of 5/21/86 and VIN:
1P3BP39EXGF166408 shows an in-service date of 5/6/86. Strange thing is almost all of the sales codes and options won’t populate for either vehicle. And it says they were built with the EDF TBI 2.2 rather than the turbocharged EDG...

sorry I’m so late to the party lol

The RIP-TX’s in service date was 4/18/86 and Popes is 4/23/86. Again not much info is shown on these, and both still list the TBI engine. Pretty weird and intriguing!
