    2.4l valves

When doing this swap using a 2.4l N/A head, do you need to upgrade the valves for a turbo application, or can you stick with the OEM valves if you not going crazy boost?

Reason I ask is I know there is a difference with 8V turbo/non-turbo valves, and the non-turbo ones aren't suppoed to last long if run on a turbo engine.

Low boost you can get away with but the exhaust valves won't last long at high boost...you can probably buy some SRT valves for chump change from someone who has upgraded

20 psi daily with 25 at the track so far with EGTs well in excess of 1600. No problems to report.

Alot of people have gotten away with stock valves with no issues. I intend to.

SRT exhaust valves are a different size than eariler heads.

That would be the answer I wanted to hear. I've done a fair amount of research on this mod, but never found much info on the valves.

My Rampage will be a daily driver with not much more than stock boost for now. I know this isn't a cheap mod, but I want to keep it as economical as I can. Good to know that if I do go more boost/bigger turbo I should be fine.

I've known a few guys to nuke stock valves at 20+, but their tunes were probably not as good as turboshad's...

There is no difference between n/a and turbo valves on the neon heads. I will advice that the 2001+ dohc 2.4L head has smaller exhaust valves than the 95-99 dohc cylinder head. About 2mm smaller. Bit of a downgrade.

While there is no prob using the stock valves, the turbo(srt4 valves) are different(not just size).

30+psi on stock na neon valves is not an issue as it is using na 8v valves
