got a 89 dakota convertible 4x4 it might fit in, maybe i can do a package deal,
That's a strange set up to say the least. Under the Thermoquad? Cooky! Wonder how to set up a carb like that...
I'd really prefer rear mounted set up (twin would be sweet) as even my New Yorker doesn't have enough room for mounting like that. I think fuel injection would have to be easier. (But probably more expensive)
Mine is a '74 coupe so I'm hoping (but doubtful) it might be a steel crank. The '74 block is stronger with the extra ribbing.

Although I've got too many irons in the fire to tackle something like this right now, I still think that setup, with a few modifications, would be AWESOME in the RamCharger. Damn 5.2 only gets 10 mpg when towing now, so why not drop in a turbo 440 and at least I wouldn't have to run WFO all the time.
omg.... i knew i wanted a dodge truck...
anyone wanna help me stuff it into my f150?
cmoooooon it might do wheelies when we are done
it might fit in a new yorker, i can get the total width across the setup and post it.
looks like 38" across the turbo is about 10" from pass side of engine, turbo might be moved to the front rear or under?
boy that died fast, where is the mopar since of adventure?, make it work
I had one of these turbo kits that came with a box truck I bought for $500 the turbo kit was brand new and it was a really cool set up. I wish I had the time to have installed it in my 71 plymouth, but I had to sell it. I think that this is a great price! a 440 is worth about $700 and a 727 $300 and then the turbo kit I had sold for about $650, I wish I lived closer!
yeah, i hate selling it could do so many cool things with it, great tow motor, but i need the cash more than the motor
I had one of those turbos and the plate that goes under the TQ. What an oddball.
