    Pickup offset

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the offset of the 2 hep pickups are? I've calculated it a few ways, and I'm getting 13.7* on top of the 180* (so total of 193.7*).

I've seen 10* elsewhere, but that seems too low, considering the edges of the windowed blade are only 10* or so.

    Re: Pickup offset

I think I figured out what I had wrong. I need to take 1/2 of the angle, because I'm measuring across the whole circumference between the pickups, not from the center. You can look here if you're really interested: http://www.cut-the-knot.org/Curricul...bedAngle.shtml

Halving the angle gives around 7 degrees, which when graphed seems to be the correct amount of overlap. 13* is way too large, due to the edge of the windowed blade being less than 13*, and 10* is cutting it way too close.

    Anyone?
