How to break in a new engine.

    This link shows how-

In a nutshell, fill all fluids, use a cheap dyno type oil, bleed the cooling system. Start it up, set timing, let the thermostat open and check for leaks. Break it in then change out the oil and filter while its still hot. This gets all the fluff, little chunks of metal etc out and trust me, there's quite a bit in there. Refill with a good oil, DINO oil for 1000-2500 miles-everyone has a different view on this, then switch to synthetic.
