'005' refers to the one type of Mopar performance headgasket.

I was able to get new New Zealand castings from a local machine shop in MPLS, MN. The name of the shop is Cylinder Head Service.
I have had more than one person send me heads bought off ebay for port work. The Chinese heads looked like something that was forged... well in China.
I remember a thread on one of the forums. This guy received one of those bad heads. He returned it, and they sent him one of the better castings. Squeaky wheel gets the grease... I guess my point is, know who your dealing with so when you have issues, you have some recourse. Above all, ask questions! Like where was it made? What is the warranty? Does the warranty cover labor? Complete or bare casting? New casting with remanufactured hardware or all 100% new?

An 005 can be used on a T2/2.5T1 cross drilled head / block and it appears that some sellers are just selling this gasket anymore.

Anyhow, went to the "yard" and got another doner. This time the car was running and nothing wrong... taking it to the shop this weekend for checkup...
Sounds like your machine shop dropped the ball the first time,

Nothing wrong with using Al for heads, same can be said for iron heads, a few models have bad cracking issues also.
