Thanks, guys! Keep the thoughts coming!
man I need to get mine done...lol
Also...nice to know that those seats work. There was a perfect leather set in a LeBaron up at the local Jy...and, I want them...now I really do.
How about the back seat, did you swap that too? If so, what all was involved?
The backseat actually didn't work; the L-body rear seats have a deeper 'bucket' on the bottom than the Daytona ones do and also the metal hooks that secure the front of the seat to the floor are improperly placed. I'm sure with some modifications one can get them to fit, but I don't have the desire to.
I would care to say that if you want some more supportive seats while still retaining the stock appearance go for the Daytona enthusiast ones. They're cheap, can be installed and wired in easily and look pretty good too.
Obviously SRT-4 seats would be even better but they cost far more than Daytona seats and aren't adjustable.

Wow that looks great.
You were at mopars in may? I must have missed you? or maybe I didn't.
I hope to be there again next year.
Q
I shall be coming again in 2010, this time with my Ho'! When is it this year?
Engine has been fully disassembled and is to be hot tanked tomorrow. Shall be painted with fresh freezeplugs and block heater installer later this week! Stay tuned.
Cheers, TheCanadian
Block has been cleaned and painted!
Block masked in primer:

Second piece of great news, I picked up a 1986 Plymouth Horizon, also 2.2 carb'd with an auto for $1000 - inspected and safetied! This shall serve as Winter transportation for the upcoming years and my Ho' can stay warm in Winter and come out in the Summer!
I give you The Nugget: (Crappy cell phone pics)
I shall keep an eye out in the wrecking yards and grab a TBI head/manifolds and wiring/SMEC when one pops up and do a carb -> TBI conversion on this sucker. Should handle Winter without issue with fuel injection.
Cheers, TheCanadian
Put some air in the tires and bought a Black Ice air freshner today!
I give you The Nugget and her evil brother, The Ho!
Just tracked down and been reading up on yo ho.. Doing a nice job on her. Definitely a good idea to drive something else in the winter.. Where'd you find such a nice,rust-free winter "beater" in this burg? Looks like Transcona - my girl loves Mongos!

That looks really good!
Where did you get the slim oil filter? PN?
It's a Wix filter, used on the GLHS or intercooled L-bodies. Might not have the need for it, as I'm using a Hayden Slim-line fan.
Filter numbers for equivalent are: Mopar # 4419970
Wix # 51335
Carquest# 85335
Purolator # Per101, L10101
I believe the turbo can be re-clocked; I was concerned about the seal between the compressor cover and the center section, will it leak after moving it?
Other thought, I bolted up the exhaust housing along with a new stainless turbo support bracket. All fits good with plenty of anti-seize on the threads. Wondering if I need a gasket between the turbo and the exhaust manifold and/or between the exhaust housing and the swing valve? Other guys have recommended using axle grease, which when heated will form a carbon seal. Thoughts upon gaskets and where?
Also re-wrapped the injector harness and cleaned up the injectors and installed the fuel pressure regulator. Painted the distributor and installed the cap/rotor/HEP along with NGK wires and NGK VR 45 plugs. Injectors being used at 2.2 T2 ones, rated at 33pph which is equivalent to 350cc.
And of course, pictures!
Turbo's got feed lines and vacuum block
how are you gonna run the wastegate?
I'm going to modify a T1 Garrett WGA and bolt it to the compressor housing. Ah the joy of custom fabrication!
tat compressor housing looks like a vnt housing or did you drill and tap for a second hole? even if you did,it still looks different for some reason.
its the TIII engine stock t3 comp housing i think, or are you saying it looks diff then that?
