    ECU Question

Will a 86 Daytona ecu work inside a 85 GLH-T? What is the difference inbetween them and does anybody have a 85 GLH-T MP ecu? Thanks.

    Re: ECU Question

To use the '86 ECU in an '85 you have to swap your distributor over to '86 or later T1. Car will not run with the '86 ECU as is.

    Re: ECU Question

85s had "G" Heads and 86s had Fastburn Heads so although it will run if you swap distributors you'll suffer some performance loss due to the less aggressive spark advance tables used on the 86 vs 85 stock ECUs.
