    front motor mount

ive got a 89 turbo dodge caravan and when i had pulled the motor out of the junkyard i had grabbed the front motor mount which is out of a turbo lebaron. The problem is i keep having half shafts popping out and ruining boots. Im wondering if the motor mounts are different which is causing the motor to lean to much causing the half shafts to bend too much and not have enough engagement??

    Thanks,
    Mike

Yes, the bracket and mounting is different, actual mount is the same though if its a 90 and older.

Did you change the axles at some point? You could have car ones installed.

    Re: front motor mount

The front mount is from the lebaron and the side mount is from another van with the bracket from the lebaron. Yeah I had to change the axles since they pretty much all came apart but i had the guy look it up for a 89 turbo van. The axles look like there having to reach forward to get to the trans.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Sounds like a front mount issue and the wrong length axles.
