    86 TurboZ C/S Project

After a couple years of not sure where I'll be working next, I decided not to wait any longer and restore the exterior of the Daytona.

Here are few pic over the past couple weeks.

It got a bit of colour today. Got the rims back from the refinisher.

I'm very pleased with how they turned out.

Awesome job on the rims. This may be the best color combo ever for this car. Keep this thread updated with progress pics - would love to see the final product!

I took a little bit of liberty with the colours. I darkened the gold a bit and I'm using a deeper black then the stock colour.

The gold looks close to Fiberide gold. I'm sure it will look great. When will it be done?

Thanks, they did a good job on them. Get some better rubber on them in the spring.

Car has been delayed until next week, so the Daytona is going to miss Moparfest.

Got my decals from LaserXT1986 yesterday ... they look great.

Wheel Wizards in Hamilton Ontario. They were around $100 per rim.

There was a bit of a delay at the shop, but things are moving again.

The jambs have been base coated and a bit of surface rust in the hatch area has been cleaned up.
