    TFB Sleeper

Finally got another omni (actually a horizon) to drive again
After selling my flat black GLH to Alex, I got to thinking I should get another
Plus after being at SDAC and stuck hitching rides all week
Final straw came when Alex called me and said he crashed the GLH, my daughter even told me she missed that car already

Thanks to SV-TD group they came across an ad for

1980 Plymouth Horizon. 3 speed automatic, 122,000 miles, front wheel drive(great in snow!), inspection good thru 12/09, approx. 30 miles/gallon, VERY LITTLE rust, drives like a champ. Rear brakes need a little work, those parts are included with sale(brake pads, etc.) New master cylinder, new water pump. I drove this car for a little over a year to and from work (50 miles/day 5 days a week) and it has never let me down. It is time to add to our family and we need a more family friendly car. This is a great opportunity for commuters or first time drivers. Price negotiable.

Tried e-mailing for 2 weeks no answer
logged onto the photo-bucket and sent them an e-mail through there
She e-mailed me the next day with a number

The girl's name is SHELBIE (dad's a shelby mustang fan and thinks his escort is hot), had to drive down HORIZON BLVD. to get there

Windows rubbers are solid, doors clunk when closed, no usually rattling going on
some floor pan rust 3-4" dia. rest of the body is solid
does have a baseball size dent on the passenger rear wheelwell though

Full black interior, headliner is sagging, needs a good cleaning but overall very nice

Starts right up and runs decent
Going to fix the rear brake line and drive it till I get the glh from the junkyard
Then swap the turbo setup over and probally keep the hubcaps for a little while

Oh - I LOVE that car! I know it will be great when you are done, but I like it is. I learned to drive stick on a blue '79 that looked pretty much like that, hubcaps and all. Brings back memories. Cool ride!
