If you mean the round yellow one that is about the same size as stock, I've heard they are not as good as a stock one. The MSD Blaster 2
is a good replacement, although I don't know if there is much to be gained in a TD by a coil replacement.

For a while I used a Jacobs Omni Pac in my Lebaron, with the plugs gapped to .050. I did not get any mileage or performance gains from it. Later I took it off and went to the stock coil, and it started missing.
I had forgotten to regap the plugs back to .035, and it didn't like it.
In other words, a MUCH stronger spark did not produce any gains in a
fairly stock log intake TD running 12-14 lbs of boost. If you go past 25lbs of boost you might want to go to a CD.

I switched to the accel could and it didnt run as well.

for $60 bucks i never noticed any difference other then i took it back and bought me a sunpro a/f gauge
