2009 Chrysler World Finals at Norwalk Raceway

Wanted to start this thread to see who all will be attending.
I have a Club Challenge set up with Chris from the Classic Events. We will have a reserved area for us to park together. We do have a min. of 20 cars to have this. So if to plan to go and would like to park with the group, let me know so I can add you to the list. I dont want to run out of room as we did in 2007. (last year was rained out)
the fee is 20.00 for driver and car for the weekend, any additional people in the car are extra. Again camping is free.
The date of the show is Sept. 18th.-20th.
    Any questions please post here.

you got a choice pro or sportsmen. both are bracket. sportsmen is a 11.50 or slower. pro is awesome even though you have a chance in hell of making it to the finals. seeing how many V8 guys you can take down befor you go under is worth every penny of the entry cost plus you earn some respect for are cars.

I'll be there on Saturday. The 19th is the exact day I picked up the GLHS last year.

Mark spun a Rod Bearing on his Black Daytona Saturday. So it's not looking good for his car, although we are thinking about just polishing the journal and putting in new bearing, just to finish out the season. Not sure how bad it is, because we haven't pulled the caps yet. I am going to pull them tonight.

I'll be there Saturday with the Omni, maybe Fri night too. I'm not expecting consistency yet for brackets but wondering how many test n tune passes I can expect to get?
    - Never considered staying the night. Most of you guys talking about staying fri or sat night?

Re: 2009 Chrysler World Finals at Norwalk Raceway

friday is mostly test and tune. saturday you may get 3 or 4 test runs maybe more. sunday you get one test run. friday and saturday night they got the gamblers race for another $20 each. cool to watch at 1am. sunday at noon is the eliminations. its all bracket and no fwd class. you're like everyone else who comes to the classic. you got a 400 to 1 chance at being number 1#.
I don't care if i win or lose its just a blast being there among the best running mopars
