    1984 Dodge Rampage T2

Well I picked this rampage up in May of this year in Kokomo, In. It was a 2.2 carb'd auto car. I tossed it in the garage couple weeks back and already had all the parts from 1988 T2 Daytona Shelby stripped clean and ready to be tossed into it.

So now the rampage sports a
1988 T2 engine with JE pistons
    1988 Daytona engine wiring
    1989 2.2 t2 smec
    rebuilt garrett T2
    a555 with new clutch
    spearco fmic
    2.5" trans am style exhaust
    255 fuel pump
super light weight imperial steelie/aluminum wheels in the rear
    1988 Daytona instrument cluster
    19888 Daytona Shelby front brakes

As of right now the truck is only running 7-10psi and I'm definitely enjoying it. Once I get a few baseline runs at this level I have the following to toss in it.

    Devils Own progressive alky kit
    3 bar map
    +40 injectors
    shelgame 24 psi cal
    24.5x15 slicks.

    Even more pictures.

I also have a set of drag radials that were on the truck when I took it to Mopar at the Red Barn show. I'm hoping to be able to sneak up on the local ricers with this one as I already wore out the sleeper effect for any Mopar mini van.

Good thing you dont live down here.. cuz i plan to have fun in my van and it'll be much slower than yours for a long while.

Looks like a fun one.. pretty soon you'll have one L-truck with each motor setup and then you should race them all against each other. That would be a sight.

Actually, there is no hvac setup.

I will never have a td with working a/c and this thing is not meant for cold weather driving. Getting it weighed in couple of hours.

    Hehee nice.

If you were closer i would GIVE you the gray Shelby Charger dash I have so you could tidy up that area a bit.

    Re: 1984 Dodge Rampage T2

Yeah the dash area looks like crap because the car was broken into at one point and the guy ripped the crap out of the dash to get the factory 1984 am/fm radio and destroy the steering column.

That didn't bother me as I had to cut quite a bit of the factory instrument cluster area for the daytona cluster to fit. This thing is definitely not meant to win any beauty prizes so I'm pretty content in leaving the dash alone along with the brown nose cone and hood.

I've got a couple other rampages with better bodies that I will actually go thru and make a decent looking turbo conversion.

heck I've got 3 complete shelby lancer gfx just for the rampage shelby body kit conversion.

2450 lightweight The Rampage RT was over 2800 when it was full weight. I've gotten some of that out of it now. We need to get my Bro LeRampage weighd, I'll bet its pushing 2700 with the power seats and all the LeBaron parts. When I run mine next January during Mopars at the strip I'll be at it's 'final' weight with working AC and the paint and bodywork done.
