did it sell, or what's the deal here?
Ended - reserve not met. No sale that I know of. Bummer that its at one of these bonehead dealers that charge a $100 doc fee - even though there is no need for it. I've also not been able to confirm that whole "pay sales tax here" thing. I know I don't have to tell people it being a MI dealer to an OH buyer, not sure where they get off saying you have to pay double the sales tax.
I went and looked at the car, as its only about 20 min from my house. This rust free RT has baseball size rust holes in the rockers, floor is rotted along frame rails and the is a rust hole in the trunk pan. Not the most honest dealer! I hope someone buys it and fixes it, but it wouldn't pay what he wanted for it.
R/T is sold. Sorry I didn't respond to this post, figured interested parties would have messaged me! As far as not being honest, I'm sorry I didn't notice the rust in the Undercarriage!! But was everything else not as I represented it to be?? I urge every one of my customers to inspect my cars, or have somebody else do it for them. Really is a bummer we have to charge a $100 documentation fee that includes a 30 day tag, all title work and fees charged by the state, and keeping records of all that for at least 3 years. Double tax? No, if you reside in one of the 7 states that Ohio LAW is reqiured to collect tax from, you will NOT have to pay tax once you title it in your home state. You would NOT pay tax twice. I hate collecting tax, everybody acts like I get something out of it! It goes straight to the government, not my bank account. Really is a bummer my integrity is questioned because I am a car dealer... Thanks, Matt.
